This unit has been divided into two videos. Each video will cover grammar, vocabulary and/or the different parts of the exam. At the end of each video, you will be given certain tasks to complete in the digital book. There are other tasks in which you will have to write your answers and send them to your teacher for correction. This unit should take about two weeks to complete, and you will have the option of a 30-minute video call with your teacher at the end of the unit to practise the speaking part and ask any questions you may have about the unit. In this unit, we will revise five different grammar tenses: past simple, past continuous, used to, past perfect simple and past perfect continuous. We will learn how to create new words by adding a suffix at the end. Also, you will learn when to use the prepositions at, in and on with time phrases. Vocabulary-wise, we will learn some vocabulary words and we will see how to differentiate between these words: travel, journey, trip and way. As well, we will go through some false friends.

In addition to this, we will give you some speaking questions to react to others’ ideas and some useful expressions to start talking, to talk about similar and different things and to answer the questions the examiner can ask you.
