This unit has been divided into three videos. Each video will cover grammar, vocabulary and/or the different parts of the exam. At the end of each video, you will be given certain tasks to complete in the digital book. There are other tasks in which you will have to write your answers and send them to your teacher for correction. This unit should take about two weeks to complete, and you will have a 30-minute video call with your teacher each week to practise the speaking part and ask any questions you may have about the unit. This unit is called “Express yourself”, and is related to the use of technology and more specifically the mobile phone.
In the first lesson, you will get some vocabulary related to using the mobile phone. We will also look at the differences between verbs such as say, tell and speak. We will then start with the grammatical topic of the reported speech.
The second lesson will continue with the reported speech, focussing on reported questions and indirect questions. We will also look at some negative prefixes.
As always, the final lesson will focus on the exam. We will cover Listening part 3, Reading part 4, Speaking part 1, and Writing part 2.
