This unit has been divided into three 20-minute videos. Each video will cover grammar, vocabulary and/or the different parts of the exam. At the end of each video, you will be given certain tasks to complete in the digital book. There are other tasks in which you will have to write your answers and send them to your teacher for correction. This unit should take about two weeks to complete, and you will have a 30-minute video call with your teacher each week to practise the speaking part and ask any questions you may have about the unit. This unit is called “My life and home” and is all about where we live and our daily routines. In the first lesson, we will look at the different parts of the house. We will then look at prepositions of time and place, and finally, frequency adverbs.

The second lesson will consist of some more vocabulary for things we can find inside our homes. The grammar part of the lesson will cover the present simple and present continuous tense, quantifiers, and countable and uncountable nouns.

The third and final lesson will focus on the different parts of the B1 exam. We will look at listening part 2, speaking part 1, reading part 5, and writing part 1. You will learn how to write an email. It is important to go to the relevant pages of the digital book to practise each part of the exam and the writing needs to be sent to your teacher.
