This unit has been divided into three 20-minute videos. Each video will cover grammar, vocabulary and/or the different parts of the exam. At the end of each video, you will be given certain tasks to complete in the digital book. There are other tasks in which you will have to write your answers and send them to your teacher for correction. This unit should take about two weeks to complete, and you will have a 30-minute video call with your teacher each week to practise the speaking part and ask any questions you may have about the unit. This unit is called “On holiday”, and will take a look at different activities we do on holiday. What do you like doing on holiday? In the first lesson, we’ll see some vocabulary on different holiday activities, as well as some different buildings and places. Then, I will introduce comparatives and superlatives as the grammar point of the lesson. The second lesson will look at the difference between the words travel, journey and trip. These are some easily confused words, and we will continue to look at comparatives and superlatives. Have you ever heard of gradable and non-gradable adjectives? Don’t worry if you haven’t as we’ll talk about them in this lesson. The final lesson, as always, will focus on the different parts of the exam. In this lesson, we’ll look at Reading part 1, Listening part 2, Speaking part 3 and Writing part 1.
