Here we are on unit 6
This unit has been divided into three videos. Each video will cover grammar, vocabulary and/or the different parts of the exam. At the end of each video, you will be given certain tasks to complete in the digital book. There are other tasks in which you will have to write your answers and send them to your teacher for correction. This unit should take about two weeks to complete, and you will have a 30-minute video call with your teacher to practise the speaking part and ask any questions you may have about the unit. This unit is called “Creative Pursuits” and is about the arts. The first lesson will talk about self-portraits and look at some adjectives to describe them. We will then look at how to avoid repetition in written and spoken English.
The second lesson will start with the following parts of the exam; Listening part 2 & UOE part 2. We will also look at adjective-noun collocations.
The third and final lesson will continue to focus on the exam. In this lesson, we will practise Reading part 5, Speaking part 3, and then Writing part 2. It is important to go to the relevant pages of the digital book to practise each part of the exam and the writing needs to be sent to your teacher.
