This unit has been divided into three videos. Each video will cover grammar, vocabulary and/or the different parts of the exam. At the end of each video, you will be given certain tasks to complete in the digital book. There are other tasks in which you will have to write your answers and send them to your teacher for correction. This unit should take about two weeks to complete, and you will have a 30-minute video call with your teacher to practise the speaking part and ask any questions you may have about the unit. This unit is called “Invention and Innovation”, and as the name suggests, will be all about technology. The first lesson will go over the Future tenses, and more specifically, the future perfect and continuous. You will then be given some phrasal verbs related to technology.
In the second lesson, we will look at some topic-appropriate vocabulary, as well as, objects, reflexives, and reciprocals.
The third and final lesson will continue to focus on the exam. In this lesson, we will practise Reading part 7, Listening part 1, Speaking part 2, UOE part 4 and then Writing part 1. It is important to go to the relevant pages of the digital book to practise each part of the exam and the writing needs to be sent to your teacher.
